Kimiya Madelat is a licensed Paralegal at Lexpand.

Kimiya holds a Bachelor of Law degree from Iran and came to Canada to further her legal education and pursue her paralegal licensing.

During her studies, she was actively involved in the Law Association, where she helped organize legal education events outside the classroom and advocated for students facing academic challenges. Advocacy has remained a central focus of her work and interests.

At Lexpand, Kimiya works in litigation support, legal document preparation and organization, supporting case management, and helping clients understand each step of their legal matters.

Her experience includes matters before the Ontario Small Claims Court. Prior to joining Lexpand, she also worked on matters before the Ontario Court of Justice, including running bail hearings and multiple Gladue Court hearings where she gained broad exposure to criminal court procedures and human rights–related issues.

Kimiya is patient, detail-oriented, and committed to supporting clients through stressful legal situations with clarity and care, bringing a calm and steady approach to her professional work.

She is fluent in Persian and English, with basic understanding of French and Spanish. A total linguistics nerd, loving to learn new languages and connecting with people in every conversation.
