Savaughn Hamilton is an articling student with Lexpand Legal Professional Corporation. Savaughn completed her law degree at the Dual JD program at the University of Windsor and the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. Previously, she completed her Bachelor’s degree at the University of Toronto in Political Science and History. Her dedication to the legal field is demonstrated by her experience with the Conviction Integrity Unit in Wayne County, Detroit, where she conducted legal research on wrongful conviction claims. During her time at the University of Windsor she was deeply involved in her community. She has held various leadership roles at Windsor Law, including serving as a representative for the Animal Justice Association and the Women’s Legal Education and Action Fund. Her volunteer work extends to mentoring first-year law students and advocating for animal rights and human rights through organized events and fundraisers.
During her free time, she enjoys horseback riding, going to the cottage, and hiking with her dog.
